Till all the other names fade away…
You must be thinking what are these other ‘names’ I am talking about? But we’ll get there
Recently I had an awesome time with a few of my friends, where at first were just chilling and enjoying each other’s company. Then we started singing and God really did move, honestly it was just an amazing experience. God really does move unexpectedly, you just have to experience Him for yourself.
Now there was a moment when one of our friends housemates joined us (as we were making quite a bit of noise) and eventually she sang a song, which was what gave birth to this blog. The song just hit me and has not left me since. (Video of the worship session below).
You see the thing is that in life we have things that we prioritise and many a times, we put things before what should be the most important thing to us… God. All these things take up so much space in our minds, they are making sooo much noise that we don’t hear what God has to say to us.
The funny thing is if we actually heard what God had to say concerning all of our different priorities, our minds wouldn’t be full of different things because what you needed to have heard God would have told us.
““You cannot be a slave of two masters; you will hate one and love the other; you will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
(Matthew 6:24 GNT)
This verse says it all, either the things you prioritise over God will rule your life or you’ll let God reign in your life and you’ll have dominion over all things.
I have a challenege for all that read this blog, listen to the song ‘Wide as the sky’ by Matt Redman. As you listen to this song, ask God to reveal the things you have prioritised over Him and pray that they will all fade away.
